Hey there, kids. Mardi, Zoe and I are finally home after a two-month US and Canadian tour with BDSS. That was hard work but fun times, let me tell you. I'm finally about to update the website, sorry I've been a bit lax about it lately... 2008 is mostly booked, and we have a happy surprise on the horizon that I can't wait to tell you about. Yay! They've nominated two of the four members of The Indigo: Rachel and Zoe, for "Favorite Interpretive Artist". Makes a mee happie. So... what else? Le Serpent Rouge has had a baby: a CD of much of the music featured in the show. Catch up with us on Tribe. Yes (gulp) tribe. I'm embarassed, but it's true. Fall dates should be announced shortly.

I've finally decided to resign my post on tribe.net and replant my offerings in the warm, comfortable backyard that is my own website.
Offering #1: The stuff I use in my workspace can be found in a new "Listmania" list. Many of my favorite books for making things can be found here. If the link doesn't work, google "Resources for Practice and Creativity", you'll be sure to find it. Don't try the search function on the Amazon site, it's hopeless. Offering #2: Belly Dance Intoxicants for the Tribally Inclined, a little playlist I've compiled that's good for practice and perhaps performance: Belly Dance Intoxicants. You can also find it by googling the above title. Offering #3: Le Serpent Rouge is about 5 mintues away from having Spring West Coast Dates. Please check back or join the mailing list to be made aware before they are announced. Offering #4: New and improved booking process. Please click on the little red envelope at the bottom right of this screen for details.Offering #5: We're on our way to a new site that will more accurately reflect our current aesthetic.

Keep up the good work if you're practicing. Adopt a new practice regimen if you're not. Never lose heart. Onward and upward fellow adorned soldiers!

Tour dates for Le Serpent Rouge are shaping up quite nicely. We should be able to get to many of the spots we have been hoping for, but being a short month long, we might not be able to get everywhere.
