    Dear Rachel:
I ‘m a Chinese university student from Hubei province(in the centre of China) as well as a fans of you and belly dance especially tribal fusion.I’ve learnt belly dance since 2008.In spite a learner,I fell in love with it just as you saw the first belly dance performance in the north Califorlia.
Next month I’ll take over the first job in my life. It’s a steady job fulfilling everyone’s requst for the job of a female. But just as what you had said in an interview in Japan—-(now the femail could)’explore themselves’,I found my interpretation about the life isn’t a steaty job.I love the belly dance ,love religion, love travlling around like the Gypsy and San Mao(my favorite female witter who travlling the Sahara Desert ang the South America and the Europ accompanying with her husband, but I’m not brave enough).I had seen an interview video of you.Seeing your smell and hearing your voice when answering,I knew you were happy and getting everythiny you want, even you had never planed to get anything. Although I didn’t see the film’The American belly dancer’,I appreciated the theme very much—the life, dancing and freedom. All of them are the key words of my life, but I’m living in a fairy different country with you especially the civils’ values about ’successful people’.I could see the end of my life in this moment. But luckily, you and your dancing will accompanying with me,right?
    Come on.
May you and all superstars well.
    Welcome to China especiall Hubei.
    shanshan

    Hello,

Does anyone know how you will find out if you have been accepted into the workshop if you are on the waiting list? I signed up for it in May, and I still have not heard anything. I was hoping perhaps someone would make contact to let me know what the chances are of getting in, as I am trying to make travel arrangements to come to Portland, and would love to know in advance if there is a possible slot :)
Thank you to any one who has any info on this,
    Blessings :)

    Hello,
I know this probably isn’t the right place for this but I have a question. I am part of the Middle Eastern Dance Organization (MEDO) at Alfred University in New York. I was wondering if there was any way I could convince you to do a workshop here, or possibly a show. My E-mail is sjc5@alfred.edu. Please let me know if this would be at all possibly. Thank you!
